There's a popular saying by folks who consider themselves spiritual, but aren't interested in attending a church: "I'm not in to organized religion." When said to someone from WPC a response might be, "No one has ever accused us of being organized."
While we take our faith and our spiritual growth very seriously, we pride ourselves in our informal laid back style. We are diverse, flexibile, and open to new ideas and ways of being people of faith in the world, as we seek to discover who God is and who we are individually and collectively as Christians.
We encourage anyone seeking friends, faith, and meaning to come and visit a healthy and good natured church family that knows it's not perfect. The service of worship is at 11 am on Sunday morning and ends at about 12:15. Coffee and fellowship follow the service on most Sundays.
This adobe-style structure was built in 1955. There is parking for about 24 vehicles in the parking lot, including two handicap parking spaces; additional parking can be found along Juanita Street or at Andy's Liquor store next to the WPC facility.
