We at Westminster Presbyterian Church are a worshiping community in the Reformed tradition. Worshiping God is at the heart of all we do. We gather each Sunday morning at 11:00 to pray, sing, listen to the Word and celebrate the Sacraments. Through word and song our worship is a joyful celebration that often features special music. It is not unusual to experience a wide variety of Gospel, instrumental pieces, soloists and even Mariachi music as a part of the service.
We consider ourselves a family and strive to live into our goal of being welcoming and inclusive, showing hospitality to all who enter our doors. As a More Light Presbyterian Church, LGBTQ worshipers have a safe, non-judgmental welcoming community to support them. We share our joys and ask prayer for our concerns in what we refer to as “God sightings”. We are a joyful people who care a great deal about each other and the world. Our time together on Sunday morning opens the way to our becoming more thoughtful and loving all week.
In addition, we have a Time For Contemplative Silence every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.
A Taizé style service every Thursday from September through May and the first Thursdays of June through August in the sanctuary at 5:30 p.m.
